I went as part of the class on a visit to BBC studios in Newcastle.

This was taken at the BBC entrance where they put photos of all the BBC staff...
This photo was taken at the BBC as kind of a remembrance wall showing the viewers how different kinds of industries have changed over the years.

This is a photo of the different tapes that they used to put music and audio pieces for CD/Tape players.

In the BBC this was the control room where they try to make the different shows up to scratch without making mistakes and also they make sure it has the right scenes at the right time of different shows.

As someone who likes the idea of video editing t was great to see this professional set up. I even got to test out some of the equipment!

Second image of the BBC control room...

Here is a close up of the controls in the editing suite control room - it looks really complicated!

Here are sets and props that were used for a TV show

This is an interview room at Newcastle BBC where you can change your different locations such as being near a motorway etc. They also use this room for different reporters if the people in the studio want there point of views on something.

How do you begin finding work in this area?
If you want to work in the BBC you don't neccesserily need to have any gcse, deplomers etc. You could start off by being a runner for different people like, making cups of tea, delivering letters to different members of staff even though it would take you over 10 years to get to where you would want to be. However if you did have the right deplomers etc that you earnt from university it could take you up to 3 years.

6 examples of images off Photoshop.

I like the way this photo of Matt Healy is edited by having one part of his face lighter then the other.

I like the way how they convert different images of Matt Healy and put them into one to make a full image.

In his photo I like the way how they make the image feel dark and when they put the writting onto the image also.
