Challenge

For my challenge I want to?
For my challenge I want to gain more experience in this type of area because it if I was to go on a higher course in the future and if I was to do this again I wouldn't need as much help as I did during this assignment. Also for my challenge I want to make it worth watch for my target audience and make it enjoyable to watch even if it isn't that long.

What is new about this challenge?
What I think is new about this challenge is that I have been using materials and software that I haven't used before. Going back briefly to the first question with me using these software and materials for the first time if I were to do this again I would know what to do.

Why it will be a challenge?
Why I think this will be a challenge because it is something I have not done before.

What I will need to plan and prepare for my challenge?
What I need to plan and prepare is all my pre-production preparation. What I mean by this is by creation my background and animation characters and also plan what I want my animation to be about.

Animation Exercise

In my creative project lesson I had to pare up with a partner and do a little demonstrator on how I wanted my animation to be so we used a penguin and snail... This is a animation me and Gemma did today on the stop motion animation; even though it is a few second long we think it is good for our first go. It's about a penguin and snail. In the animation we had the penguin coming into the scene after the snail and collapsing. After we had the snail crawling over the penguin to see if it was alright and it slowly moving out of the scene. Afterwards the penguin got back up waved at the audience and jumping into water.

Background Imagers...

I have chosen images from antarctica

The penguins are going to be made out of modelling clay...

In the scenes i want the three penguins Perry, Ollie and Sophia to have guns holding up at Alex. Then Christopher the police man comes along and tries his hardest to stop them but fails and dies as they shoot a bullet in his head and then looks away for 2 seconds and Alex the hostage slides away as he was frightened he could get in trouble for being involved for murdering police officer...

Genre of Animation -
The genre of my animation will be a comedy/Action animation,

Audience -

I want the audience to be based around young teenagers because they is a bit of violence and will be inappropriate for children around 5 to 12 year olds.

Length of Animation -

The length of my animation will at least be 20 seconds long and until it will be finished would be in 12 hours with my lessons lasting 1 hr and 30 minutes. Be finished in February.

legal and ethical issues -
In my animation they will be illegal issues as they will be a scene of one of my penguin characters shooting another of my penguin characters.

I don't need to worry about anything about copyright because I am going to create it all myself.

I haven't use any ideas of different animation of the internet or any where else because i thought of it from the top of my head...

Planning for my Arts Award Challenge

To get ready for my Arts Award Challenge I will work on a series of classs based animation exercises to get some of the basic skills together for animation and decide which is the best method for me to use. I will be using Apple Macs with a programme called I Stop Motion. Sound and titles will be edited on with another programme called I Movie.

Here is a class exercise I made using cut out animation:

What we did on our animation we used four different cut out of people, furniture and objects. The lady walks into the room past the sofa to the fire which she trips over a pair of slippers into a burning fire and burns to death.

This is my animation made from just people. Me and Gemma switched directions n the video and then i got behind Gemma pretending I was her arms...

I have decided to make my animation with clay models, so the next step is to start making the actual models.

My penguins for my arts award challenge
The characters I made for my animation are made from modelling clay. With his type of material i had chosen i think it goes good with making them look more realistic than if i drawn them..
